Bidirectional Shock SAT Series
Dual-Direction Shock Testing. Single-Setup Efficiency.
The SAT Series Pneumatic Bidirectional Vertical Shock System delivers efficient, high-precision shock testing for large or difficult-to-reposition components. With the ability to perform upward and downward impacts in a single setup, it ensures maximum test throughput and safety—ideal for battery validation and heavy-duty applications. Built for compliance, ease of use, and environmental responsibility, it redefines vertical shock testing.
Performance Characteristics:
- Pneumatic drive, no environmental pollution
- Bidirectional testing in one setup – no need to flip the specimen
- Supports both shock and bump testing with high efficiency
- Built-in pneumatic brake mechanism for enhanced operational safety
- Integrated control and measurement for simplified operation
- Air springs and dampers reduce vibration – no foundation installation required
Standard Compliance
The SAT Series conforms to internationally recognized shock and safety testing standards, including:
- MIL-STD-810F – Environmental engineering considerations and laboratory tests
- IEC 60068-2-27 – Basic environmental testing procedures
- 3 – Lithium battery transport safety
- IEC 62281 / IEC 62133-2 – Battery and cell safety standards
- UL 2054 / UL 2580 – Household and electric vehicle battery pack tests
- IEEE 1625 – Rechargeable battery system testing for portable computing
- SAE J2929 – Electrical safety performance for EV battery systems
- IEC 62660-2 / ISO 12405-3 – EV and HEV battery test methods
The SAT Series Pneumatic Bidirectional Vertical Shock Test System is purpose-built for testing large, heavy, or non-reversible specimens—especially in battery validation environments. With the ability to perform both upward and downward shock tests from a single fixed position, the SAT Series eliminates the need to reposition units under test (UUT), significantly increasing testing efficiency and safety.
Combining a robust pneumatic drive with a precision table platform, this system delivers repeatable and controlled shock performance for payloads ranging from 400 kg to 1,500 kg, with table sizes up to 2,000 mm.
Application Focus
With its dual-direction shock capabilities and high load capacity, the SAT Series is particularly suited to demanding battery tests and large component assessments where conventional turning or repositioning is impractical. Its environmentally friendly design and foundation-free installation make it ideal for flexible lab environments.
